While I enjoy the crisp fall air here in Minnesota, I cannot help but reminisce about the beauty and splendor of the Mountains of North Carolina this time of year. The leaves turn every color of the spectrum, and it is a sight to behold.
The people are warm and genuine, and giving, you dont really worry too much about crime in the area, Churches on every street corner, billboards that have scripture posted to them, Friends and family I grew up with all over town, yep Franklin NC , small town USA, a Mayberry of sorts....If ever in Western NC, dont miss the "Ruby capitol of the world"
Isaiah 52:7
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!"

Please keep me in your prayers as I have another busy weekend highlighted by Impact Services'  "Dessert First" --Sponsored by Truffles and Tortes. This is my second year providing the entertainment for this event, and if it is an AMAZING event put on and hosted by some amazing people!

Anoka-Champlin Meals on Wheels continues to deliver — more than 28,000 meals a year, mostly to senior citizens — but the 42-year-old outfit has broadened its mission and recently changed its name to reflect that.
It’s now Impact Services (www.impactservicesmn.org), and it’s also addressing additional issues related to aging — housing needs or legal questions, for example.

Of course I will still be singing as usual at Carol's restaurant on Saturday the 20th from 5:30 to 8pm , come enjoy the awesome food and desserts at Carol's while I sing a soft blend of hits from the last 70 years.

To God be the glory great things he has done !
