Well, Tomorrow morning at 7am I will be auditioning for The Voice here in Minneapolis
God has a will and a plan to use me wherever HIS will is/ If that is here, I am excited, if it is a broader scope (perhaps getting onto and winning the voice?) then I am excited, but where he leads I'll go....and be content.
Phillipians 4 :11-13
11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Singing tonight at Dessert First .
The fundraiser event I have been involved with for 3 years now that I firmly believe in and support.
Impact services (formerly Anoka-Champlin meals on wheels)
continues to deliver — more than 28,000 meals a year, mostly to senior citizens.
A hot meal, a friendly face that delivers it and sometimes it is the only contact that individual has with someone the whole week. It is "Impactful" to say the least.
Would you like to buy a ticket for tonight's event? Even if you arent able to attend the funds go only to feed the disabled and elderly who cannot prepare meals for themselves.
Perhaps a donation? Anything is greatly appreciated by this worthy Organization.

I am trying to get myself and my 13 and 14 year old children to NC to see my year old grandbaby and my 27 and 26 year old sons, as well as most of my Mothers side of the family. An expensive journey to say the least =)
Perhaps I can book some shows along the way to help pay for the trip or a couple once i get there....

Who ever says " well it has been a slow and un-exciting Holidays? LOL
It has been a busy time, getting the last minute Christmas shopping done, making home made holiday goodies with the
family, wrapping presents, singing, caroling, Church programs, making sure you truly celebrate the virgin birth of the one true savior Jesus Christ, and what that REALLY means.....so much more than presents and ribbons and bows and trees.
He was THE greatest gift ever , God's son born of a VIRGIN womb, and the road he must travel all culminating in his death on the cross and his burial and ultimately his resurrection, Praise his HOLY name.
If by chance , you are following my blog, of which there are thousands world-wide from The US to china and all around the globe, there are some of you who dont know Christ as your savior and would like to know more.....PLEASE I beseech you, seek him out, ask questions, whether it be myself or someone in your own neck of the woods, and come to know him, become a part of God's family. Wise men still seek him today......

Well, Thursday night was a BLAST at The Rockwoods in Otsego for the Annual Dinner and Silent Auction.
Posting some of the pictures.
There were some I had known from some previous engagements, but alot of new faces, for me, and wonderful giving people that were there to support the I-94 Chamber.
New President DJ Hartley put together a fun evening of great dinner, awards, music and recognizing achievements in the I-94 community.
Awards were given out, the top notch staff at the Rockwoods catered the event, and a great time was had by all.

What a great time last Friday at the Courtyards of Andover .
Dessert First for Impact services of Anoka-Champlin sponsored by Truffles and Tortes, they were able to raise over 12,000 Dollars for this worthy cause that night which feeds 3000 meals.
There was of course desserts....FIRST as the appetizer, dancing, great food, laughter, a silent auction, a live auction and of course some live music from yours truly.
Praise God for such a wonderful turnout and response and giving from people who have a heart for people.

While I enjoy the crisp fall air here in Minnesota, I cannot help but reminisce about the beauty and splendor of the Mountains of North Carolina this time of year. The leaves turn every color of the spectrum, and it is a sight to behold.
The people are warm and genuine, and giving, you dont really worry too much about crime in the area, Churches on every street corner, billboards that have scripture posted to them, Friends and family I grew up with all over town, yep Franklin NC , small town USA, a Mayberry of sorts....If ever in Western NC, dont miss the "Ruby capitol of the world"Isaiah 52:7
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!"

Anoka-Champlin Meals on Wheels continues to deliver — more than 28,000 meals a year, mostly to senior citizens — but the 42-year-old outfit has broadened its mission and recently changed its name to reflect that.
It’s now Impact Services (www.impactservicesmn.org), and it’s also addressing additional issues related to aging — housing needs or legal questions, for example.
